eufy C10 vs Roborock Q7 M5+

Buy the Roborock Q7 M5+ unless your furniture clearance is under about three inches. It publishes 10,000Pa against the eufy's 4,000, adds anti-tangle main *and* side brushes, mops as well as vacuums, and on the day we checked it cost less. The eufy C10 wins one thing and wins it outright: it is 2.85 inches tall and still maps and empties itself, which no other machine at this price manages.

This is a comparison worth doing properly because on paper the two machines look like the same product - self-emptying, laser navigation, near the ceiling. They are not remotely the same product, and the gap runs almost entirely one way.

10,000Pa against 4,000Pa looks like a two-and-a-half-times difference, and it is not safe to read it that way. Pascal ratings have no shared test standard between brands, so the figures are not strictly comparable and we explain why on Pa suction explained.

What you can say is this: Roborock published a number that invites comparison and eufy published a smaller one. Neither brand is hiding, which already puts both ahead of iRobot. On carpet in particular the gap is likely to be real, because agitation and airflow both matter there, and the Roborock has the better brush as well as the bigger number.

Height, and it is not a small thing if it applies to you. Roborock does not publish a height for the Q7 M5+ at all, and machines with a LiDAR turret on top generally sit above four inches. The C10 publishes 2.85 inches and still holds a laser map and empties itself - a combination we could not find anywhere else at this price, and one that forced us to correct our own low furniture ranking when we found it.

So the decision tree is unusually simple. Measure the lowest point under your sofa and your bed. If that number is under about three and a quarter inches, the Roborock's specification sheet is irrelevant, because the machine will never clean the floor you are buying it to clean. If it is over four inches, the eufy's advantage evaporates and you should buy on the numbers.

The eufy's CornerRover arm extends outward as the machine reaches a corner, and it is the only extendable side-brush mechanism we have found under $300. The Roborock's side brush does not extend, but it is designed not to tangle, and edges are exactly where long hair collects.

Those are genuinely different strengths rather than more-and-less of the same thing, and which you want depends on whether your problem is reach or hair. We rank the whole field on this on best for corners and edges.

Both use a bagged dock, so both have a consumable. eufy states 60 days per 3-liter bag; Roborock states 7 to 9 weeks for a sealed 2.7-liter bag. That is close enough not to decide anything. The Roborock's bag being sealed matters in one specific case - a household where somebody reacts to dust - and if that is you, the machine actually built around that problem is the Roomba 105 with AutoEmpty and its 0.7-micron filtration claim.
