The eufy 11S MAX is the only machine on this site with no Wi-Fi and no app of any kind - it is controlled by a remote and buttons. It is also the slimmest here at 2.85 inches, clearing furniture nothing else on this site can get under. It has no map, the shortest runtime here at 100 minutes, and eufy publishes no suction figure for it.

Why a machine with no app is not simply a worse machine
Every other machine on this site is a cloud-connected appliance. It pairs with a service, it receives firmware updates, and it depends on a company continuing to run infrastructure for the life of the product. When that stops - and it does stop - the machine loses its scheduling, its maps and its zones, and becomes a device with a start button.
The 11S MAX cannot lose any of that, because it never had it. There is no account to be deleted, no server to be shut down, and no update that can change how it behaves. In ten years it will do exactly what it does today. That is a real form of durability, and no listing anywhere describes it as a feature.
The second buyer for this machine is somebody purchasing on behalf of a person who will not use an app - a parent, a grandparent, a tenant. For them a remote control and two buttons is not a limitation, it is the specification.
What the specifications mean in a real home

Single side brush. eufy presents this as a scatter-reduction measure, and on a hard floor there is something to that - a fast-spinning second brush can flick debris away from the machine. It also means edges are covered more slowly.
Tempered glass top. A small thing that matters after two years of being kicked under a sofa.
The specification eufy does not give you
No suction figure at all. The listing describes BoostIQ adjustment and never states a Pascal rating. On a site that ranks by published specification, that is scored as unverified rather than assumed good, and it is the single largest reason this machine sits low in our ranking. We are not saying it cleans badly - we are saying eufy has given us no basis to say it cleans well.
Who should buy it
Three specific buyers. Someone who actively wants no app, no account and no cloud dependency. Someone whose furniture clearance is under three inches, where nothing else fits. And someone buying for a person who will never open an app.
Who should not
Almost everybody else, and the reason is the price. At around $170 it costs more than the iRobot Roomba 105 Vac, which has genuine LiDAR mapping, keep-out zones and a mature app. On every measure except body height and the deliberate absence of connectivity, the cheaper machine is better.
If you are here because you want a good budget robot vacuum and this one came up, start with the full ranking instead. If you are here because you specifically do not want a connected appliance, this is your machine and there is no real alternative.
